As we stand on the precipice of our Movement’s one-year anniversary, we are thrilled to announce the launch of our general and regional election campaign under the theme, “From Every Corner, One Purpose: Your Voice, Our Commitment.” This campaign symbolizes our unwavering dedication to unity, providing representation, and the empowerment of every Guyanese citizen.
Over the past year, our Movement has made tremendous strides in advocating for the rights and voices of our people. Through the tireless efforts and unwavering determination of our caucus, we have earned a significant seat during the local government elections in 2023. This seat sends a strong message to leaders across Guyana, that a small force has the power to penetrate the bubble of corruption, address the shortcomings throughout all levels of government, and raise leaders who are just, fair, and capable of representing Guyanese without fear, favor, or discrimination.
With this momentum behind us, we are more prepared than ever to serve and represent the interests of Guyanese after the election cycle in our National Assembly. We have witnessed the erosion of representation by our elected leaders, disrespect for our constitution, and their inability to address the core concerns of the people (cost of living, poverty, effective representation, better wages, and affordable housing).
The Movement remains committed to unity that transcends geographical boundaries, reaching every corner of our beautiful nation. We understand the diverse needs and aspirations of our people, and we are steadfast in our dedication to addressing them with integrity and accountability.
The “From Every Corner, One Purpose” campaign embodies our collective mission to amplify the voices of every Guyanese individual, ensuring that no one is left behind, or victimized politically, financially, or socially. Whether you are a citizen of Georgetown or from a tranquil village along the Essequibo River and hinterlands, your concerns are our concerns, and your dreams are our dreams.
